Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ

Say, you're angry!

Jack,

"Watson, this is quite a two pipe problem. I beg you not to disturb me for fifty minutes." -Sherlock Holmes

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand this one. I have to organize the scene- and you can say if this is correct:

You traded a tube dealer 5 boxes of tubes weighing 30 lbs each- a total 150 lbs of tubes, in exchange for two (2) 6L6G's. The agreement between you and the seller was that these two tubes be sort of "super-dooper" tubes- top drawer and fully investigated.

You arranged delivery of your tubes and in exchange received the two 6L6Gs.

When you received the two 6L6G's they failed and caused damage to the amplifier. You feel that the seller misrepresented the tubes, espeically in regard to the testing. You infer from this that the test results or statements made about the tubes were not true.

The large amount/value of stuff [plus considerable shipping costs for that weight I'd think] you gave for them has not been returned, nor are there any communications that the seller will make proper restitution.

You are considerable pissed off and serious.

__________

Is that the story?

What has the seller said about this so far?

Did you ever make an agreement concerning return/refund?

Cheers,

Bambi B
