Gorich...The mc60 is a very speical amp that can drive any load pretty much.The reason is it has a very nice power supply with a nice size choke and these particular amps amplify current and not voltage making them very special from other tube amps.Some people will tell you to leave them original.Thats fine and dandy and I agree like dont carve up the chasis.I do however recommend putting in good polypro caps or paper in oil type caps along with metal film resistors in the power supply section and carbon comp resistors in the signal path.You must also change the filter caps becuase you can bet they will fucntion but not nearly as good as they should.I also changed the input rca jacks from the cheap ones that came with it originally.
