I have a question for anyone who's able give me some concern or reassurance about what I just did.
I inadvertantly placed a sheet over the cooling vents of my tube amp, having thought that it was switched off. After a couple of hours, I then realized that the amp was still on and quite hot to the touch. The tubes was producing heat without a way to dissipate it!
How much damage did I instill on the tubes and amp by this careless act?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
