I'm not an expert by any strech, but I would hesitate to buy ANYTHING for $1000-$2000 and get no customer support and no warranty!You'd be better off to spend a little more and get a Jolida from a U.S. dealer. At least you will still get a warranty and customer support that way.
Or, buy an old Scott, Fisher, etc. and have it professionally restored. When restored they will equal or exceed the Jolida's performance, and most repair shops will give you a 90 day warranty on their work.
