if you ordered a matched quad for example, is how would they determine if they were a matched quad (for example) without testing the tubes? Your post suggests that they merely put tags on each box describing the electrical characterics of each tube that indicated the match with out actually doing a testing/matching process. That would be a FRAUD! If they did match the tubes then they were not dead when packaged and presumably shipped.You may well be correct in your conclusions as I have personally never had a power tube damaged in shipment, and I've had a LOT of power tubes shipped to me over the years. My point was that there are other possibilities for your experience other than dealer negligence. Check it out before you piss on the dealer in print, that's all I'm trying to say.
