I built my first stereo system in the mid-60s. I discovered and began reading Stereophile in 1971. I was a charter subscriber to TAS, along with a hand full of other "underground" audio mags about that time.
So with my memory now all these decades later I can't recall all the specifics. I've just tried to remember important basics. ;^)
