RE: Seeking active crossover for passive subwoofer

There are three types of active crossovers all go in-between the pre-amp and power amp the three types are. DSP, analog solid state, and analog tube. I do not know if Marantz did it first, but they had active tube crossovers in the late fifties. Which type of active crossover do you want? Most DSP's are designed to use a wide range of output impedance including high values like found in tube amps.
