Re: Spendor S3/5 at low volumes

Thanks for the response. Which speakers do you have that you like better at low volumes?

I primarily listen at low volumes and anyway the Spendors are stretch for my budget and I don't have very powerful amplification (Amber 70, NAD 3020, Advent 300, Scott 299).

So all I want is something small, not bright, great midrange, that sounds as good as an S 3/5 only better at low volumes that is cheaper and works well with modest amplification. Maybe I'm describing headphones.
