Hahax,
The very first Ls3/5a's had screws holding the cabinet; the production models were almost all glued; thus I believe the only way in is through the grill, then 6 screws in the baffle and the driver falls out forward. At least this is what I gather from the websites I have researched. As soon as I can find some plastic nuts for the binding posts, I'm going to marshall my very slim electronic skills and give it a try.
