My experience with melin vsm mme is the same , I had some speakers before: paradigm reference 80, dynaudio 1.8 mk2, sonus faber guarniere, and in the last two years a second system compose with merlin tsm mm, every time I comparaed SF guarniere with the small merlin tsm mm , I saw that merlin was more clear and fast, the only diference was for musioc with string like cello and violin, in this case SF guarniere is fatastic, but recently I bougt a pair of merlin vsm mxe, now almost 100 hours , it sound incredible like your wrote, and every friend that listened the merlins became impresioned, some says is difilcut to come back to house and listen their system, if it was easy to buy, may be they were selling their speakers and buying merlins vsm mme, but we live in a distant city in Brazil.
