heya marc-i would think due to relative efficiency and the control over the midrange up to 3k, that your best bet would be to leave the 'bass' driver alone, and adjust your 'horn' accordingly.
there's a pretty good amount of info out there on working with the 604-- i'd definitely google it- lots of revised crossovers and info over at the altec users group. try the link below!
