I have also tried a number of the usual recommendations on my Quads (Bedini 25/25, Classe DR2, First Watt Aleph J, Quad II, TriMax, Audio Silver Knight, etc.), however, the best is the KR Enterprise 18 BSI integrated amp. This is an SET amp that uses the KR 300 BXLS tube and produces about 15 wpc. There may be something better out there but I have not found it (and I keep looking).
