If it comes up, lend him a set of affordable speakers that sound better. Sometimes I'll lend out a set of Optimus LX-5 speakers from Radio Shack with the Lineaum tweeter. I paid $150 for them. Every Bose owner that I know who tries them can't go back to Bose after.I think I may have offended a person or two but I speak the truth. If the little Bose cubes cost $300 and were marketed as to what they really are, I would have no problem with them.
Hats off to Amar Bose, however, as he is certainly a good businessman.
