Without more of a description of the resonating sound and the conditions that elicited it, the guesses are that you exceeded the power limits of the woofer, or you clipped the amp by exceeding its output capability, or you have a bad woofer, or you might just need to tighten the screws fastening the woofer to the baffle. A tiny speaker like that is not meant to reproduce low bass. Plus, at least the original P3 had low efficiency and limited power handling ability. How big a room are you using them in?________
