For those who use these speakers, what size of room are they used in? I purchased these hearing them in a room that was low (had to crouch a bit), not too wide, but long. They seemed clear, fairly tight, and good imaging, a bit like mini 801's. They used cat5 cables and and an old upgraded Eico tube amp. The DM7's are now used in a room that is about 32 x 22 feet, there is no sparkle, and very sluggish. Must admit, just using basic speaker wire, but a decent Mac 1900 receiver. I'm guessing these speakers can't handle a room this size. This is not the main setup, so I'm not worried, the main system keeps me more than happy. Has anyone ever figured out a way to "speed up" the dm7's? Change the fuses with solid core etc? Cheers, Scott
