First, there are tons of resources out there if you just look on Google or similar search engines.Second, I suggest highly some free and shareware stuff out there. Things like WinISD and similar box design programs not only offer you the basics for designing some pretty solid sounding boxes, but provid the theory and such for understanding what you are doing as well.
