It was stated below that 3/4" tweeters have better off-axis response than 1" tweeters. That is generally true. It was also stated below that 3/4" tweeters have a higher resonance frequency. That is also generally true.It will definately depend on the implementation, however, as to whether these are issues or not. A 3/4" dome in a two-way system with a steeper crossover can be made to work very well. Or in a system where the mid/bass unit has a smooth high frequency rolloff, a 2nd order can work just fine also.
