Has anyone here actually removed a woofer from the cabinet of a Snell E/III enclosure? I have replacement foam surrounds to install and find that after removing the mounting screws the driver appears stuck. Does one just pry the thing out? Also there is what appears to be a bead of clear adhesive on the top portion of the old surround foam where it mates to the paper cone. I thought the adhesive provided with the replacements should be applied underneath the foam. Any suggestions for a newbie?
Thanks!
