above all else, i want the sound to be right. AND, i'd like it if the floor vibes couldn't be felt as well, by myself in the room and the neighbors below.Great idea with the Svelte shelf...
i've always heard that speakers really need to be anchored, but recently i've removed the floor spikes from my floorstanders and the sound improved a LOT. But again, i currently have concrete subfloors...and concrete is so nasty sounding.
i'll probably try the Subdudes since they are inexpensive, but i'm open to all ideas.
Since its a rental, i won't be able to shore up the floor joists or anything. What i get is what i have to deal with...thanks for the response.
