I once had the opportunity to RTA the output of an original Bose EQ. I sent pink noise into the EQ and took its output into the line input of my Goldline RTA. With the response set to 'flat' on the Goldline, the EQ showed a shelving low end boost around 60Hz or so and a high freq peak boost around 16kHz. You might be able to simulate this with a graphic. Hope this helps.
