If you have access to a pink noise CD and an spl meter, you may want to check your own speaker drivers for balance. If you have never done this before, you may be unpleasantly surprised at the results.Just play the pink noise recording on mono, turn the balance knob to the left, and take readings of each driver. Hold the spl meter about 1 1/2" from the center of the dust cover of each driver. Repeat the proceedure for the right speaker and then compare the results.
As I said before, you may be unpleasantly surprised at what you find.HG
