I did not consider the RTi4 because I knew it would not have any bottom end. The six does very well down low. I'm satisfied enough to not consider a sub for use with it. The high end is smooth, not bright at all. Kinda what you expect from a silk dome.
I'm in my lab most days for six hours or more. I do not get listening fatigue at all from the six.
For $379 from Crutchfield they are a steal. The cabinet finish (5 sides) is literally perfect. They have a 45 day free trial, I think.
