The only amps that I know of that use a power supply with only plus voltage are the Ice based amps (Bel-Canoto, EVS, PS Audio, Rowland, EAR, H2O, etc.) and the Nuforce. There might be others, I am not sure. Most all other digital amps (Spectron, Channel Islands, Audio Research, older Bel-Canto, etc.) use a plus and minus supply so there is no voltage on the output and therefore no problem hooking up a sub directly.
