Many Infinity speakers have 4 ohm loads, I'm not sure about yours though? Many good-sounding vintage receivers, can only deal with 8 ohm loads. Here's one that that can do 4 or 8 ohm speakers:
Marantz 2230 receiver, 30wpc, made in the early or mid 70's.
Very smooth sounding receiver, with great bass!!
Real good tuner section too!
A MINT-condition Marantz 2230, will run you around $200.
However, if you can deal with a few scratches & lamps out, you can find a good-sounding Marantz 2230 for around $100.
I got lucky with mine.....$70.
I run a pair of mid-70's AVID 100's with them.
The Marantz 2230 receiver really makes my Avid's sing!!
