they all agree on one thing. The cable must, under all circumstances, reach from the amp terminal to the speaker connector.All jokes aside, it is good to keep the cable lengths the same for flexibility of placement options, and if you happen to use an expensive cable, for resale value. I know I am preaching to to the choir, but you should try to keep speaker cables as short as possible in all setups. 15' is on the long side.
