Strata Mini's have arrived

I just recieved my shipment of AV123 Strata Mini's in the piano rosewood finish (a limited edition finish $400 upcharge). They came extremely well packed with an external wood frame surrounding the double boxed speaker. When I finally removed the speakers they were each in a large cotton sock with 2 pairs of white gloves included. When I lifted up the sock to examine them, I exclaimed "Oh my G-d, these speakers are absolutely gorgeous". I am not usually impressed by much these days, but the finish and workmanship on these speakers are fantastic. I recently attended RMAF and the only speakers I saw that had a finish like this were MBL's and Salk Sound. I am not kidding. If I had to guess the price of these on looks alone, I would have to day at least five thousand. Bear in mind, this is not the stock finish which is also pretty darn nice. As soon as I get them sorted out, I will post some impessions on the sound quality. If they sound half as good as they look, I should be a happy camper. BTW, my current main speakers are Von Schweikert VR-4 GenII, so they have some big shoes to fill.
