hi a,
the best thing to do is to get the serial number and send it to bobby@merlinmusic.com and i will search for the manufacturing date and the version of the vsm that you purchased. you might have thought about doing this before you purchased them. recommendations can only be made after we know what version you have and if you have a bam and its model. you may also want to call me personally to discuss the set up and what you got with the speakers for best results. 585 367 2390
