And I will too.
I am never at a loss for words, and all shall know IF the 901's are capable of sounding like music, or are the scam many here believe them to be.
Really, I almost do not want them to sound good, because IF they do, surely my audio "reputation" will suffer ?
But I assure you, if they are good, and sound like music, I will not keep quiet about them. You know, in their review days, all the reviews from around the world were very positive, EXCEPT the Stereophile one.
I was just a kid living in Detroit, when they first arrived on the scene.
Don Veralla, my neighbor, was a professional classical musician.
Many of his friends that could afford them owned 901's, and he had a very high regard for them.Actually, until I became an Audiophile, the two times I heard them, they were impressive.
Now, I seek truth, and may very well find out what all the audiophiles "know", that 901's are junk.
But, until they are in my home, with my stuff hooked up to them, and placed correctly, I want to keep an open mind.
Unlike some here, I have many pairs of known to be good High End speakers to compare them to.
They will have their work cut out for them to make this team.
And IF they do, and we have all been lied to about the 901, I will expose the lie, and enjoy them myself.
This is gonna be fun ....
