You are right, Dave.

I should not have said "rigged" because it implies malintention. Let's put it this way: the test frequencies chosen (1,5K, 3K, 6K, and 12K) favor Seas against SS.

If you look at SPL curves of both drivers (I have provided links below), you will notice that at these frequencies, SS driver has little peaks whereas Seas has little dips or is flat. Of course, peaks is where there is more energy storage problems and distortion.

The difference is especially pronounced at 12K, so if I would want to argue for superiority of the Seas driver, I would also show a pic for that frequency.
