The idea, as I understand it, is that by using the speaker-level connections you preserve the sound of your main amp through the subwoofer, too, possibly making a more seamless blend between the two.I tried both and preferred the line-level inputs. Go figure!
I guess everyone's mileage *really* varies on this one.
