I really enjoyed the sessions w/ Robert Johnson too. I guess I'm in the minority, but I think Clapton has put a pretty fair amount of good material in the last 10 years. He's a great guitar player too. He's had his periods where he is not a straight-forward blues man, or over the top with his axe, but so what. Dylan didn't want to be the anti-establishment folky forever either. But it pisses people off.Clapton's been a great performer both times I've seen him live. He's getting up there in years, so he's entitled to an off night. BB King has really declined over the years (though I still enjoy the hell out of his performances) and but I never hear anyone trashing him. I guess it's just the magnitude of his poularity that brings out all the criticism, but you can't blame the man for gaining a following.
