a lot of that kind of music. I find the inventiveness and originality of "Helmet" is absent in others.
I do very much, however, appreciate "Jesus Lizard," "Antiseen," and "9-lb. Hammer."
How do your three compare with those?
I happen to think Page Hamilton is a genius. His guitar work is mesmerizing, as are his songwriting and vocal skills.
He and Gibby Hayes are the most talented guys I've heard in the past twenty years.
I'd have to put Moon Martin and the lead singer/writer of "Lazy Cowgirls" in that select class, too, but they're very different from the others mentioned.
