expecting George Bush to speak proper English. That Fillmore show is prime live NY and CH - full of fine, gutsy playing, rough edges and honest emotion. As for the sound - it's much better than the sterile "Living with War" and considerably better than the bootleg of that show I've treasured for two decades. I'm really happy I bought the Fillmore show CD, but then I'm a fan of that band and of that sound."too drunk to rehearse" ? AVOID "Tonight's The Night", one of the great NY recordings. You wouldn't like it...
