Announced today, the retirement of yellow Wiggle Greg Page due to illness.
As Australia's highest earning musicians you will know them if you have or any of your children have small children.
The Wiggles have sold an offi cal 17 million DVDs and videos and some 5 million cds/cassettes.
Their TV shows play worldwide.
A few years ago a neighbour of mine ran a help for nursing mothers charity and The Wiggles came and played 4 shows for them for free. They are very very nice and genuine people.
Tell your children gently it may be a shock.
The band will carry on with their regular stand in now becoming a full time member.
In 2003 they played 12 sold out shows at Madison square Garden to a total of over 250,000 people. Their annual Australian tour sells 120,000.
This is a very successful band.
