A stunning talent. There are very, very few songwriters who understand how to contruct a melody AND who are capable of writing thoughtful, resonant lyrics. I find that most lyric writing these days ranges from self-indulgent psyho-babble to the merely trite to the banal cliches. NAKED SONGS is a terrific live collection, with fabulous sonics, and a favorite of mine.She also has abolutely wonderful taste in selecting material to cover, and is a fabulous performance artist in her own rite. Try "Pop Pop."
