A very good show. He has star power. It was short, a tad under 90 minutes, but it was well done. I stood next to a couple who drove 12 hours from Canada to attend this show. The Nokia Theater Times Square is a great venue. In fact, it has become my favorite venue. Capicity is 2,100 but it seems much more intimate than that, and it has a good layout, a good sound system, a cool lobby with three bars, unobtrusive security, and good bathrooms. This show was broadcast into select movie theaters around the country. The new CD is supposedly rock classics but is more like pop-rock favorites, and has not garned good reviews. But Rod wisely combined the show with a few of those covers and some of his better-known songs--"Maggie Mae" was the closer.
