To my knowledge, there has never been a widely available, career-spanning Slade box set. That all changed recently, with the release of Salvo Records' "Anthology." I honestly can't conceive of a better Slade compilation. This four-disc, 84-track set covers all phases of the band's career. While it may be a little overwhelming for the unitiated, for Slade fans it's an absolute treasure trove. With this set, it's easy to see why Slade were the biggest band in England for a number of years and why they continue to be held in high regard the world over. BTW, the liner notes are excellent, and the sound is excellent as well. Bravo, Salvo.
