Not to sound hypercritical, but why in the world would you buy a cd with "numerous scratches"? or why in the world would you buy a noticably scratched cd without asking about the return policy?. Did they hide the scrathes from you? At this point I would guess you are at the mercy of the store of your purchase. Time to put on your suave and sweet talk the little pretty behind the counter.
