Bob Dylan - Modern Times

What a disappoint considering all the good things I've heard about this disk.
It's nice to hear Bob Dylan in pretty good form but it doesn't sound like he really cares. And if I'm wrong about BD the production on this record reeks. The slick professional musical accompaniment bores and give the disk kind of a Doris Day feel.
This record sounds good and the songs seem pretty good as well but in a heartbeat I'd rather listen to bad recording of musicians with lots of heart than something like this - slick pro's going through the motions.

Give me rhythm or give me death!
