There is a greatest hits kind of thing called Songs From The South which is not a bad place to start.
Beyond that I really like Nothing But A Dream and the more recent Foggy Highway credited to Paul Kelly And The Stormwater Boys.
The one record I would suggest NOT starting with is the Professor Ratbaggy disc as it is a series of relatively experimental dubby dancey things. PK likes to try a lot of different stuff and I think this record would give you a very wrong idea about him.
Actually I don't think there's really a disc there that I would call bad and I am dead serious when I say he might be the WGS.
He is a definite contender.
Really I think SOngs From The South is a good starter. Put it together with a discography and you can track back to whatever period becomes your favourite.
