I actually WOULD get the Kids are Allright DVD, you'll see a lot of Moon, get to know his personality better, and there is a lot of good footage of him drumming. There's a nice segment of the band playing Magic Bus with Moon just clacking away on sticks, it's really enjoyable. I think you and your son would find a lot on the DVD to talk about and learn from.
