One of the reasons I love this type of music is how it is so infectous....This is an old Vassar Clements tune that Charlie Daniels changed an octave with and it became The Devil Went Down to Georgia.
Best I ever heard it done was two years ago in a pecan grove in Kansas. They had about 60 musicians on risers in a circle...there was like 10 hammered dulcimers, 15 fiddles 10 guitars....you get the picture. They played this song very slowly and it went on for 45 minutes with various groups of like instruments all taking turns with the lead. One of the most hair rain things I ever saw and heard....
