I was at the Hendersonville Apple festival today, and heard a thundering garage rock cover of "I Want Candy", with an androgynous sounding singer screaming out the lyrics. Turned out he and all the band, were still in middle school. You haven't heard "Hard to Handle" till a long haired 12 year old belts it out...
Seriously, though, it takes kohunas (sp?) to play a set that exposed, and they were quite good, and their were screaming teens/pre-teens around the stage.
