The basic tracks on TLP were recorded too hot. You can hear audible distortion in a number of places. Worst track in this regard is Suki. Distortion on the vocals in that one. Ugh. Of course it's also compressed to hell but that's to be expected unfortunately. But tracking distortion is unforgivable. Not sure if it was intentional but it's distracting. Musically I love the release. Much better songs than DCW. But DCW is clearly the better recorded/produced of the two.Yeah the schoolgirl photos are a little over the top but hey whatever floats their boat I guess.
I really like the BBC video.
