The sad part is I first heard of this Australian band on the wake of the tragic death of Grant McLennan.... The tracks on Amazon.com piqued my interest.
This is a neat album.... The band had an intensely-musical yet organic quality, a la the Boomers. The "bonus CD" was taken from a live concert in London. It was kind of an "abbreviated greatest hits".... The live tracks were excellent both musically and sonically. This is one of those rare recent albums that has left the music racing through my head after it ended. The best was saved for last- "Streets of Your Town" is not only a great tune, but also a nice demo track to show off your audio system.
