Carl Palmer is certainly one of the best 5 rock drummers of all time.I also saw the U.K. open for Tull. I'm thinking it was around 1979. John Wetton, Eddie Jobson, Bill Buford and Allan Holdsworth - what a powerhouse band! Jobson on the vioin was a lot of fun to see live. It was my first exposure to UK - too bad they didn't make more music. I liked UK's self titled first album better than Danger Money w/ Terry Bozzio on drums, but they're both good. My LP's of these titles are still in terrific shape.
