The lp is edited but for the most part all you lose is a fair bit of that uninteresting superfluous noise at the start and the bit of telephone babble at the end so no big deal. There are a few vinyl versions around. The proper UK pressing is a black vinyl one that i've not heard. The clear blue is the US pressing and is very good indeed with the vinyl being dead quiet, no pressing errors, nasty distortion etc. A Brazillian blue pressing exists but i've never been arsed to track one down and a Korean double black lp unedited comes up on Ebay now and then. My experience of 'modern' Korean rock lps leads me to think the Division Bell pressing will be a crock of shit and unless you're a collector not worth a 10th of what it goes for. Get the US blue, it comes up fairly often on Ebay and shouldn't really go for too much as there's a fair few out there. I have the cd and the lp and i don't think i've listened to the cd since 1995 and have no great desire to. I played the lp in the last hour after first viewing this thread, glad i did, it's great.Looks bloody superb spinning too:>)

Paul
