Yeah, it's really good. Gale-force arrangements with PJ's characteric underlying lyricism. This should should liven up their current concert tour. I'm pleased that the latest PJ & Neil Young albums both lean into a political stance that looks Bush straight in the eye. This album seems conceptually unified through autobiographical tales of dispossessed Americans at war or unemployed, burning up their last tank of gas in a speed-induced orgy of consumerism, vascillating between nihilism and worldwide suicide or "surfing in celebration of a billion adaptations"..."that leaves hatred on the cross."Occasionally fine lyrics:
"I've no fear for falling down,
So lookout below, I am falling now...
Tried to walk, found a severed hand,
Recognized it by the wedding band.
"It's OK do you want some more?"
I said "Yeh,..."
"You'll see dragons after 3 or 4..."
I said "Yeh,..."The whiner whining about Vetter's whining probably doesn't care for Bob Dylan, Neil Young, or Woody Guthrie either.
