... and its a bit melodramatic, that when they recorded LWTUA and Atmosphere, they and MArtin Hannett opened the door to a new pop sensibility. One that literally changed how music could sound. NOt that others (Neu immediately spring to mind) hadn't operated in certain similar areas, but in the same way Hendrix flew to London and immediately music was different.
