"Monkey Man" by the Stones--sinister minor key tune suddenly breaks into a major key bridge with that lush piano solo...
There's a tune by Jim Lauderdale on his Planet of Love album--the song is called "Maybe" and there's a great slowhanded guitar solo from Jon Leventhal.
